On May 8th, 2025, a Deputy attempted a traffic stop on a black Dodge Avenger on the TR bridge. The vehicle then fled and turned onto High street in Roscoe. The vehicle failed to negotiate a curve and drove off the roadway to the right in the 800 block of High Street. The vehicle went through a yard and struck a tree. The driver, Andre Deeds, then fled on foot. After a foot pursuit, Mr. Deeds was apprehended near an address on Liberty Drive. Mr. Deeds was taken to CRMC by CCEMS with minor injuries. The passenger in the vehicle, Veronica Gohring, was evaluated by CCEMS on scene and released. Mr. Deeds was charged with Flee and Elude and other traffic violations.
Assisting on scene was Coshocton County EMS and Prince’s Wrecker Service.

On 05/07/2025 at approximately 2:30 PM the Sheriff’s Office received a 911 call in reference to an injury accident at the intersection of US 36 and OH-229, in Newcastle Township.
Upon arrival of deputies, it was determined that Alan Trottman (94) of Liberty, OH was traveling west on US 36 when he attempted to turn left onto OH-229 and struck Mitchell Durbin (65) of Danville, OH, who was traveling east on US 36.
Alan Trottman was transported to Knox Community Hospital by Coshocton County EMS for non-life-threatening injuries.
Mitchell Durbin did not report any injuries. Mitchell Durbin had one passenger, Gary Tucker (67) of Howard, OH, who also reported no injuries.
Assisting at the scene were Coshocton County EMS, Walhonding Valley Fire Department, REACT, and Prince’s Wrecker Service.

On 05/04/2025 at approximately 4:20 PM the Sheriff’s Office received a 911 call in reference to an injury accident on OH-621, behind 23605 Airport Road (Walmart), in Tuscarawas township.
Upon arrival of deputies, it was determined that Joe Wright (56) of Coshocton was traveling north on OH-621 when he made a left-turn and struck Dustin Rusnak (39) of Coshocton, who had been traveling south on OH-621.
Both Joe Wright and Dustin Rusnak were transported to Genesis Coshocton Medical Center by Coshocton County EMS for non-life-threatening injuries.
Joe Wright was issued a traffic citation for failure to yield to through traffic.
Assisting at the scene were Coshocton County EMS, Coshocton City Fire Department, Three Rivers Fire Department, Prince’s Wrecker Service, and REACT.
